  • Communications: the content of emails, text messages, and calls you exchange with us, and records of your consent to be contacted.

  • Contact you by phone call, SMS/MMS text message, and email about LegalShield membership plans, including using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded/artificial voice where you have consented.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. TCPA consent, calls, and text messages

By submitting your information through a form on this site, you expressly consent to receive marketing and informational calls and text messages (including via automatic telephone dialing system, autodialer, artificial or prerecorded voice, and AI-assisted technology) from SimpleLegal, LegalShield, and their agents at the phone number you provided, even if that number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. You may revoke consent at any time as described in Section 10.

5. How we share information

  • LegalShield and its provider law firms, so they can contact you about, and provide, membership services.
  • Service providers who host our site, deliver emails, calls, and text messages, run analytics, and support advertising, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. Data retention

We retain your information, including records of your TCPA consent, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including telemarketing and consent recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

  • Phone calls: ask the representative to place you on our internal Do Not Call list, or email us at the address below.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Revoking consent will not affect the lawfulness of any communications sent before we processed your request.
