1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and SimpleLegal ("SimpleLegal," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website, submitting a form, or communicating with us by phone, text, or email, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Informational purpose; not legal advice

SimpleLegal is an Independent Associate for LegalShield and markets access to legal service plans provided by LegalShield through a network of independent provider law firms. Information on this site is for general informational purposes only, is not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship with SimpleLegal. Legal advice is provided only by a licensed attorney at a LegalShield provider law firm under the terms of your membership.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to submit a form or purchase a plan. By submitting your information, you represent that this is true and that all information you provide is your own, accurate, and current.

4. TCPA consent to calls and text messages (Express Written Consent)

By checking any consent box, clicking a submit or "Get my free plan overview" button, or otherwise providing your telephone number on this site, you give your prior express written consent, as defined under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and its implementing regulations, to receive marketing and informational telephone calls and SMS/MMS text messages from SimpleLegal, LegalShield, and their agents, service providers, and marketing partners at the phone number you provided. You agree these communications may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, autodialer, artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-assisted calling or messaging technology, even if the number you provided is on a federal, state, corporate, or internal Do Not Call list.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services. You may still request information by calling us directly without providing this consent.
• Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
• Opt out of texts: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
• Opt out of calls: ask to be added to our internal Do Not Call list at any time, or email privacy@getsimplelegal.com.
• Your consent is documented and retained in accordance with applicable law. Revoking consent will not affect the lawfulness of communications sent before the revocation is processed.

5. Accuracy of your information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including a telephone number you own or are authorized to give consent for. You will not submit information about another person without their permission.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by SimpleLegal or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. LegalShield and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to (a) use the site for unlawful purposes, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, (c) interfere with the operation of the site, (d) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or (e) use automated means to submit forms or scrape content.

8. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party websites or services, including LegalShield. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimpleLegal and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SimpleLegal and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including providing a phone number without proper authority).

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
